Next Steps in Python is an eight-part series covering intermediate Python skills, tips, and tricks that are guaranteed to make your coding life easier. Each one-hour session meets via Zoom on Wednesdays at noon, CTS.
Python Workshop Series: R + Python + Quarto
Quarto enables users to combine libraries and code from multiple languages (e.g., Python and R) within the same workflow and to generate sharable reports. For those familiar with R, Quarto is the "next generation of R Markdown". In this workshop we will explore Quarto using both Python and R within the same workflow, and learn how to convert the output to HTML, PDF (and other formats) to share with others.
Prerequisites: Participants should be familiar with Python at the level of the Python Fundamentals Bootcamp, another introductory Python workshop, or be a self-taught Python coder. Prior to the workshop, please ensure that you have the necessary libraries installed on your computer, as described on the GitHub README. Workshop content is available on GitHub here: https://github.com/ageller/IntroToQuarto.
