Next Steps in Python is an eight-part series covering intermediate Python skills, tips, and tricks that are guaranteed to make your coding life easier. Each one-hour session meets via Zoom on Wednesdays at noon, CTS.
Python Workshop Series: Efficient computing with NumPy
Learn how to leverage NumPy for faster computations. This workshop introduces the concepts of broadcasting and vectorizing for optimizing array calculations. We will also cover useful array operations such as indexing, copy, view, search, filter, and sort.
Prerequisites: You do not need to attend each session to participate - each week there is a new lesson. Participants should be familiar with Python at the level of the Python Fundamentals Bootcamp, another introductory Python workshop, or be a self-taught Python coder.
