Expand your R skills beyond the basics at these one-hour remote lessons. Each week there is a new topic. Each one-hour session meets via Zoom on Tuesdays, at noon CST.
Next Steps in R: R + Python + Quarto
Quarto enables users to combine libraries and code from multiple languages (e.g., Python and R) within the same workflow and to generate sharable reports. For those familiar with R, Quarto is the "next generation of R Markdown". In this workshop we will explore Quarto using both Python and R within the same workflow, and learn how to convert the output to HTML, PDF (and other formats) to share with others.
Prerequisites: Participants should be familiar with R at the level of the R Fundamentals Bootcamp, another introductory R workshop, or be a self-taught R coder. Prior to the workshop please ensure that you have the necessary libraries installed on your computer, as described on the GitHub README. Workshop content is available on GitHub here: https://github.com/ageller/IntroToQuarto.
