On March 13th, join the Alliance for Research in Chicagoland Communities (ARCC) for this half-day session to learn from one another, share your thoughts on how to advance community research, and build new connections. This Learning Exchange will include learnings from ARCC seed grantees and small group discussion facilitated by leaders of community-academic research teams.
Key partnership presentation: ARCC Seed Grantees Gloria Dotson-Lewis, Distinctively Me, and Leoandra Onnie Rogers, Psychology, Northwestern University Weinberg College of Arts & Sciences will share about their partnership and research pilot, Rebuilding Black Girlhood!: Nurturing Resistance, Cultivating Identities and Relationships with Black Girls.
This session is open to all interested community and academic partners. Coffee & lunch provided for all. $25 cash card provided to community participants who register & attend.
ARCC funds Seed Grants to support the development and capacity of community-driven research partnerships to improve health equity. This session is a great way for applicants considering applying for seed grants for our April 2024 deadlines to learn more.
