Ethics in the Teaching Profession, A Two-Part Workshop

Being in a profession, such as teaching and advising, carries with it an expectation of certain shared behaviors, one of which concerns professional ethics. How can faculty behave ethically in their teaching and advising roles?

Please join Rob Linsenmeier, Professor Emeritus, and Jennifer Cole, Associate Professor of Instruction, to discuss ethical standards of the profession and how they play out in practice. This is designed as a two session sequence (on Zoom) in successive weeks. These workshops will support and foster community for instructors at all stages of their careers.

Monday, March 4, 4-5 PM CT
Session 1: What does it mean to be an ethical faculty member?

Monday, March 11, 4-5 PM CT
Session 2: Case study from CIRTL's Ethical Dilemmas in the College Classroom: A Casebook for Inclusive Teaching
