Yahya Ashour, born in Gaza City in 1998, is a touring poet and award-winning author. He has published a children's book in Arabic and a collection of poetry called "You Are a Window, They Are Clouds", and has contributed to several printed anthologies
and online journals. Yahva Ashour was a 2022 honorary fellow in writing at the University of lowa.
