Description:

Yahya Ashour, born in Gaza City in 1998, is a touring poet and award-winning author. He has published a children's book in Arabic and a collection of poetry called "You Are a Window, They Are Clouds", and has contributed to several printed anthologies
and online journals. Yahva Ashour was a 2022 honorary fellow in writing at the University of lowa.

The event is sponsored by the MENA Languages Program; MENA Studies; the Council on Language Instruction; the Department of English and the Litowitz Program in Creative Writing; the Equity, Justice, and Community in Pedagogy Group; the MENA Student Association.
