Join CIERA and Visceral Change for the first installment of a four-part equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) interactive workshop series. The first workshop will cover topics relating to Allyship and Advocacy and will take place on March 4 from 12:30pm - 2:30pm. Lunch will be available to the participants in the Cafe at 12pm.

This series is made possible with the support of an LSST-DA Inclusive Collaboration Grant. The first and third workshops will be hybrid and open to the LSST community. 

The first workshop has been designed to offer an in-depth dialogue around allyship and advocacy as it manifests in our everyday lives, personally, professionally, and academically. This session offers discussion time to define the terms and explore how individuals can recognize the various ways to effectively impart these skills into everyday practice. Through the exploration of this topic, participants will gain a better understanding of how to best serve others as advocates and allies.
