Title: Impact of Financial Literacy Training on cash savings and credit behaviors in Uganda
Abstract: Limited savings is still a big burden in Sub-Saharan Africa. This is due to low incomes, limited access to formal financial services, economic instability among others. A big proportion of individuals in Sub-Saharan Africa are still relying on informal saving mechanisms which limits them from gaining benefits of access to formal services. This study intends to train women on financial literacy skills and also measure the impact of training on cash savings and credit behaviors.
