Title: "Decoding the ion channelome in T cells with functional genomic screens."
Abstract: The Concepcion Lab’s main goal is to put ion channels in the roadmap for future immunotherapeutic treatments. To achieve this goal, we strive to study the biophysical properties of these membrane proteins at the molecular level, to understand how their regulation influence immune cell signaling and function, and to uncover how they impact outcomes at the organism level in physiological and pathophysiological conditions.
Guest Speaker:
Axel Concepcion, PhD
Neubauer Family Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
Committee on Immunology
Research and Scholarly Interests: Biochemistry, Cell Signaling, Ion Transport, Molecular Immunology, Mouse Models, T Cells
