Hosted by WebAIM, this live, online training 3 day session is being offered at no cost to you or your department and will cover accessibility principles and techniques for anyone interested in gaining a deep understanding of web accessibility. Enrollment is limited to 25, so be sure to register quickly if you are interested as space is limited.

By enrolling in a WebAIM training session, you must commit to attending all nine hours of training in a single session offering; you may not enroll in a subsequent session to make up for any missed days in a prior session. The sessions are tailored for a Northwestern audience and will include such topics as:
Principles of Web Accessibility
Evaluating Canvas site and general web accessibility at Northwestern
Web accessibility guidelines and laws - Section 508, WCAG 2, ADA, etc.
How users with disabilities access and use the web
HTML, JavaScript, ARIA, CSS, and HTML5
Captioning
Using screen readers and other assistive technologies
Creating accessible Word, PowerPoint, and PDF documents
