The Northwestern IT Women in Technology affinity group invites Northwestern IT staff to attend Year by Year: Planning Your Career, on Tuesday, May 21, from 8 to 10 a.m. This event aims to assist staff with taking ownership of their careers and introduces University resources for personal development and career advancement. The session format will combine presentations, small group discussions, and demonstrations. It will also conclude with takeaways, including the first steps to career planning. Breakfast and refreshments will be available.

The group is pleased to welcome Joanna Mika as the event’s facilitator. As a seasoned talent development manager in Human Resources, Joanna is committed to unleashing staff potential. With over 17 years of human resources and talent management expertise, Joanna has played a pivotal role in shaping leaders at Northwestern. Serving as the driving force behind Northwestern's learning initiatives, she leads the buildout of programs that foster staff growth and development. Her passion for understanding what motivates and drives people fuels her mission to ensure Northwestern staff find fulfillment in their roles and unlock their true potential.
