A celebration of Jonathon Glassman and David Schoenbrun
This spring, the history department is celebrating the work of two of our colleagues in African history, David Schoenbrun and Jonathon Glassman, with a two-day conference bringing together esteemed alumni from the PhD program. All sessions will take place in Harris Hall on May 31st and June 1st.
You can register for the event using the link. (We need accurate counts for catering so please do register if you’d like to attend.) Thank you for your RSVP.
For those interested in historical debates about “Africa and the World” we especially recommend the first panel. Speakers have been asked to keep their remarks brief: 10 minutes for the Friday panel and 5 minutes for the Saturday panels, to encourage maximum participation from the floor.
The line-up is a remarkable group. We hope you’ll join us for the conversations!
