Join CIERA and Visceral Change for the final installment of a four-part equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) interactive workshop series. The first workshop will cover topics relating to Microaggressions in the Workplace and will take place on December 2 from 12:30pm - 2:30pm. Lunch will be available to the participants in the Cafe at 12pm.

This series is made possible with the support of an LSST-DA Inclusive Collaboration Grant. The first and third workshops will be hybrid and open to the LSST community. 

This final workshop explores the various manifestations of microaggressions and the impact they have on employees and employers. Disproportionately affecting marginalized identities, specifically people of color, this session will explore different types of workplace microaggressions, as well as offer productive ways to challenge them as the (micro)aggressor and the (micro)aggressed.
