Join the Northwestern Camerata as they explore the nuanced emotions of joy and sorrow in the human experience through music. This concert features a diverse range of repertoire, from heartfelt farewells to exuberant celebrations. At the heart of the program is Imogen Holst’s Welcome Joy and Welcome Sorrow, a poignant work that sets John Keats’s poetry to exquisite harp accompaniment. This piece delves into the interplay between joy and sorrow, illuminating how one cannot exist without the other. The program also showcases works by William Billings, Benjamin Britten, Henry Purcell, and Joni Mitchell.

Cost: Tickets are $6 for the general public and $4 for students with valid ID.
