Members of the NITMB community are invited to join us for Research-In-Progress meetings, an informal venue for members of the NITMB to discuss ongoing and/or planned research. Pablo Lechon is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Ecology & Evolution at the University of Chicago. Lechon is also a member of the Allesina Lab. Lechron works on microbial community coalescence, the process by which two previously isolated microbial communities come together and mix, as a tool to inspect a deeper, unsolved question in microbial ecology; community assembly. Learn more about Pablo Lechon’s research and engage in discussion with the NITMB community. Research-In-Progress talks take place on Fridays at 2pm at the NITMB office (875 N Michigan Ave., Suite 4010). Snacks and coffee will follow.
