Join professional certified coach Isabeau Iqbal, PhD, for this interactive session exploring perfectionism. Faculty members at all stages of their careers will learn useful strategies.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
-Explain perfectionism in their own words, including listing characteristics that are commonly associated with perfectionism
-Identify and reflect on how perfectionism shows up in their work and career
-Gain awareness of practical strategies for leveraging their perfectionism
-Begin to make a plan for supporting their own career growth and wellbeing as it relates to perfectionism
In order to extend the learning and provide additional support for interested faculty members, Iqbal will facilitate two online discussions in Winter Quarter for a limited number of people. Participants will be invited to bring their questions and “live” case studies—personal challenges they are currently facing—to the sessions. Together, participants will discuss, explore and tap into collective wisdom to find solutions.
