"Epigenetic Control of Cancer Metastasis and Immune Evasion”
Abstract:
Epigenetic dysregulation often leads to cancer and other human diseases. Tumors exploit epigenetic mechanisms to evade immune surveillance and metastasize to distant organs. We recently identified and characterized multiple epigenetic and epitranscriptomic regulators of immune evasion and metastasis, including KDM5 histone demethylases and NAT10 acetyltransferase. The mechanisms of action by these regulators and therapeutic implications will be discussed.
