Gloria Rolanda will be in conversation with historian and Cuba expert, Dr. Lisa Brock, to discuss her groundbreaking documentary on the 1912 massacre of 300 Black Cubans, Voces para un silencio: 1912, as well as her film career and her future work. Rolanda, who lives in Havana, will offer insights into current realities for women and Black Cubans, as well as overall conditions on the island today as seen through the lens of an artist and a historian.
