Description:

McCormick Global Initiatives offers several non-credit, short-term global field-immersion programs for undergraduate students. In these programs, students will visit global companies, start-ups and incubators, research institutes, and universities. While learning about the global aspects of the field specific to each program — high-tech innovation, sustainable energy generation, and critical mineral production — students will also gain exposure to global internship, research, and job opportunities. Trips to cultural, historical, and archaeological sites are also included in the programs.

Three Treks will be available for students in Summer 2024- Germany (Sustainability and Energy), Taiwan (Hi-Tech and Innovation), and North America (Energy Storage & Critical Minerals). Our programs in Germany and North America are open to current Freshman and Sophmores while the Taiwan trip is open to current Sophomores and Juniors.  All Treks are open to students in any major, and the trips are highly subsidized.

Join us over lunch to learn more, and ask any questions you have!
