Join us on December 5th at noon for the Northwestern George M. O'Brien Kidney Resource Center's OKRA Forum.
We are excited to host Dr. Ranjit Singh Atwal, Moderna Global Fellow and Research Assistant Professor in Kelly Laboratories at Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine, for an engaging lecture.
Dr. Singh Atwal will discuss how the LeaPFroG platform integrates immunomagnetic cell sorting with microfluidic chips for rapid, scalable CRISPR screening of large cell populations. He will highlight its role in discovering new checkpoint inhibitors to modulate tumor and immune cell interactions, showing strong therapeutic promise. Additionally, he will explore how these findings are being used to understand cellular mechanisms in mesangial cells to enhance treatments for IgA Nephropathy.
