Interested in studying abroad during Spring quarter? The application deadline for Public Health & Development in South Africa has been extended to December 1!
The Public Health & Development in South Africa program introduces students to public health issues, development policies, and political reform in contemporary South Africa. Courses in global health studies, political science, and African studies are taught in English by faculty at Stellenbosch University, one of the top research universities in South Africa. The University lies in the picturesque Jonkershoek Valley in the heart of the Western Cape Winelands, about a 35-minute drive from downtown Cape Town. To complement course content, the program includes various excursions throughout the term, such as the Garden Route - a scenic stretch of the southeastern coast of South Africa - a weekend in Cape Town, and a safari.
The program is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors in all schools and majors. Seniors can participate in the program and be back in time for graduation.
