This session delves into essential principles for writing maintainable, efficient, and reusable code. Topics will include code design, modularity, reuse, and portability. We will also discuss effective code annotations, debugging techniques and testing. Examples will be drawn from Python, R, and Matlab. This workshop will not be recorded.
Prerequisites: There are no strict prerequisites, but participants will benefit most if they have some programming experience and are currently working on a research project that involves coding.
