Get a sneak peek at the Introduction to Cartoon Storytelling Mini Course with a workshop on Workshop Day. Participants will look at ways to position themselves to generate story and character ideas, character development, and creativity with the intent of using cartoon art as personal expression - using real life experiences and personal conflict as prompts for new work.
This workshop (and its accompanying course) is intended to introduce students to the possibilities cartooning offers as a vehicle to express and communicate effectively. The workshop is a basic introduction to the nature of creativity, and how we position ourselves to generate ideas for an original story with original characters using personal experience or observation as a prompt.
