Are you interested in gaining more skills around generating rubrics and grading schemes and how to apply existing grading standards efficiently and equitably? This workshop will focus on providing useful feedback to students by engaging TAs in how to interpret a rubric or key. The workshop facilitators will also cover methods for generating a key or rubric for a question, which can be useful for TAs to increase grading efficiency and ensure equitable grades are granted to student work. By the end of the workshop, participants will have explored practices for grading consistently, efficiently, and effectively in STEM courses, and should feel comfortable providing quality feedback.
