Strategies for Providing Feedback in the Humanities and Social Sciences

Interested in learning about and discussing evidence-based strategies for providing student feedback? During this workshop, facilitators Gerpha, a phd candidate in Anthropology, and John, a phd candidate in History, will share an overview from the literature of effective feedback and some best practices for its implementation. During the second half of the workshop, participants will engage with 2 strategies through activity-based examples they can apply toward the work they do with their respective students. We will end the session with time for reflection on main take-away points and potential next action steps.
