Feinberg has partnered for the past five years with the not-for-profit organization Year Up on a career pathway program for young adults from Chicago. Year Up interns at Feinberg have served with distinction across departments and units, gaining skills and experience in domains such as research administration, IT, and project management. Many graduates of the FSM Year Up internship program now serve full-time as staff colleagues across the medical school and have become powerful advocates for career opportunities at Northwestern and working to close Chicago’s opportunity divide.
