Join us for an evening of visionary short films and sonic storytelling that challenge what’s possible. Through Afrofuturist narratives of resilience, innovation, and community, these works illuminate pathways to a more just and inclusive future.
Featuring shorts by Nuotama Bodomo, Wanuri Kahiu, and Kibwe Tavares, alongside multimedia projects by Janelle Monáe, Lupe Fiasco, and Beyoncé, we’ll explore how both film and music shape the worlds we dream of. Stay for a reflective discussion on how these stories inspire action—and how sound itself can be a force for change.
Light refreshments provided.
