Presentation:
"New insights into lung cancer biology”
Abstract:
In the lecture I will discuss recent advances in our understanding of lung cancer biology, with a focus on oncogene-driven lung adenocarcinomas, in particular those driven by mutant EGFR. I will talk about how studies of the biology of these tumors have informed therapeutic approaches to treat these tumors and our understanding of drug resistance and mechanisms of drug tolerance.
Host: Dr. Lillian Eichner, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics
