JVP NU hosts Nina Mehta, a community educator and co-director of Participatory Action Research Center for Education Organizing (PARCEO) to speak to the NU community about antisemitism. PARCEO is an education center that has developed an antisemitism curriculum grounded in the framework of collective liberation that answers crucial questions our communities have about antisemitism and educates us all so that we can combat antisemitism together with all other forms of hate.
At a time when many prominent conservatives and Christian nationalists attack free speech, higher education and Palestine Solidarity in the name of antisemitism, we seek to understand antisemitism in connection (rather than opposed) to collective liberation. We invite members of the community to join us, as we believe that dismantling antisemitism is an essential part of a broader struggle for justice, one that we must undertake in solidarity and community.
