Join us for an engaging workshop on creating and delivering high level pitches, with RTVF professor Derrick Fields! Creativity meets entrepreneurship in this hands-on workshop, providing the fundamentals to building pitch decks. Working in teams, you will conceptualize and pitch a fictional studio's vision for a groundbreaking project. Whether it's a film, TV series, immersive performance experience, or video game, this workshop will equip you with the tools and confidence to communicate your vision at an industry level. This event is free and open to the public. Coffee and snacks will be provided!

Derrick Fields is a digital artist and game designer based in Chicago, Illinois. He works to increase the visibility of BIPOC individuals involved in games and provide resources to young creators who are considering a path in digital media. He is the founder and director of Waking Oni Games and, as a futurist, works to identify emerging entertainment technologies, innovations, and consumer trends.
