Prior to the interviews, I will be visiting campus on Thursday, July 10 to provide an Information Session for Dow (following the conclusion of the C3S Symposium).  There I’d be happy to meet with interested candidates and answer questions.  To attend the information session, please sign up in advance using this link by July 7, 2025

Dow has exciting opportunities for new graduate PhD scientists and Engineers interested in careers in Research and Development (R&D)as well as in other functions including Manufacturing & Engineering (M&E), Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), and Information Systems (IS) aligned with various business units in Texas, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and other locations in North America. As a PhD scientist or engineer, you will be responsible for solving diverse and open-ended problems, driving initiatives that provide business and customer value and contribute to intellectual capital, and incorporating innovative technologies into practice. You will have the opportunity to develop broad and deep technical skills as an industrial researcher, collaborate across Dow teams and functions, and contribute to Dow’s business and sustainability goals.

 


Qualifications – Required education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed for this role (must haves).

A PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Data Science, Statistics or other engineering or science-related discipline is required.
New graduates, those that expect to graduate by December 2026, and post-doctoral candidates should apply.

Collaboration and Teamwork: The role involves collaborating across Dow teams and functions, which requires excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
