First Northern Credit Union is having a free workshop titled “Saving Money on a Vehicle in 2025”, served with a free dinner on August 21 at their Evanston branch (1705 Sherman Avenue).  Many Northwestern alumni, faculty, staff and students have capitalized on this relationship since Northwestern University Credit Union, founded in the 1930s,  became part of First Northern in 2003, allowing us the opportunity to serve Northwestern University faculty, staff, students, and alumni. And today we remain the official credit union for Northwestern University. Previously located on-campus in the Rebecca Crown Center, our Evanston location at 1705 Sherman Avenue was opened specifically to serve you.
