Georg Friedrich Haas joins the ensemble for a performance of his iconic work in vain, dubbed a “modern masterpiece” by Alex Ross. Performed partially in darkness, in vain is a reflection on the inevitability of cycles of authoritarianism, and the unending need to push back.
