No territorial disputes here – just pure\, refreshing exchanges between faculty and students.     The challenges of measuring the health of populations\, and why our brighter future is in the toilet. Chicago has the largest life expectancy gap in the country. How do we know that? And how can we measure the impact of disease\, environment\, social factors\, policies\, and healthcare access on the health of our region? For over 10 years we’ve been on a mission to create a geographically contiguous network that ties together electronic health records (EHRs) for our region. See how creative linkage of EHRs with novel data types can generate insights into the health of our region.     20-minute presentation followed by snacks and mingling.
