The Havey Institute for Global Health Seminar Series is held the first Wednesday of each month\, September through July\, and features the research and ideas of outstanding global health leaders at Feinberg\, the larger Northwestern community\, and beyond.    The Young Can Walk Faster\, but the Elder Knows the Road: Co-Designing Priorities for Healthy Aging in Africa   Nicola Plastow\, PhD (Clinical Sciences)\, MSc (Professional Health Studies)\, PGCert (Teaching and Learning in Higher Education)\, BSc (Occupational Therapy) Associate Professor\, Undergraduate Program Coordinator Division of Occupational Therapy Stellenbosch University\, Tygerberg Campus\, South Africa  Nicola Plastow is an associate professor in the Division of Occupational Therapy at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. She was a research fellow of the British Geriatrics Society\, and is currently a Stellenbosch University SUNRISE and Teaching Fellow. As a justice-orientated occupational therapist\, her work focuses on promoting health and wellbeing by supporting people from marginalised communities to participate in the everyday activities that they want\, need and have to do.
