DESCRIPTION:Our annual Research Day is a campuswide event to promote faculty\, staff\, student and trainee development through the sharing of recent research and conversation with colleagues.  *A registration link and more details regarding abstract submissions will be provided once these items are made available.  Our 2026 event will be held on Thursday\, September 10. Feinberg students\, staff\, trainees and faculty are invited to celebrate scientific discoveries and presented their research posters and abstracts.  Thursday\, September 10\, 2026  Schedule of Events  1:00 p.m. Welcome and Presentation of Feinberg Awards (Hughes Auditorium)  -Presentation of the annual awards: Mentor of the Year Award and the Tripartite Legacy Faculty Prize in Translational Science and Education -Keynote Lecture: John A. Rogers\, PhD\, the Louis Simpson and Kimberly Querrey Professor of Materials Science and Engineering\, Biomedical Engineering and Neurological Surgery  2:15 p.m. Poster Presentations  Posters will be presented in three locations:  -Louis A. Simpson and Kimberly K. Querrey Biomedical Research Center -Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center -Third Floor Conference Center in Northwestern Memorial Hospital Feinberg Pavilion  4:15 p.m. Awards Ceremony (Hughes Auditorium). Reception to follow in the atrium.  Poster Competitions & Awards  Research Day offers students and scientists at Feinberg a public forum for presenting their findings and an opportunity to receive valuable feedback from their colleagues. It also allows them to see how their research compares to that of their peers in a competitive arena. Learn about the prizes\, eligibility and instructions for our poster sessions.  Each year\, Research Day participants compete for awards in basic science research\, clinical research\, public health and social sciences research and women's health research by submitting their research in poster format for review and judging. See an archived list of all previous winners.  The following awards are also presented on Research Day: Tripartite Legacy Faculty Prize and Faculty Mentor of the Year.
