Stutzmann\, PhD; Professor & Chair of Neuroscience; Director\, Center for Neurodegenerative Disease and Therapeutics.   Lecture title: "Neuronal signaling deficits linking ALzheimer's disease and Down syndrome"  Abstract: The Stutzmann lab is interested in identifying early mechanisms of neurological disorders at the cellular and synaptic levels in order to identify potential therapeutic targets.  Mouse models and neurons derived from patient populations are used in electrophysiological\, imaging\, and molecular experiments to reveal functional deficits in Alzheimer's\, Down syndrome and brain injury studies.
