DESCRIPTION:This elder residency helps to build relationships and connections beyond campus. Indigenous elders\, Karen and Allen Washinawatok\, will travel from the Menominee Tribe of Wisconsin from May 2-9 to share traditional knowledge and practices and expand upon their Fall residency. We will harvest saplings and build a teaching lodge this Spring! We will also learn about land-based cultural practices and Indigenous education with the lodge build.
