DESCRIPTION:Part of the Winter Chamber Music Festival  Lucy Wang and Hao Zhou\, violin; Aiden Kane\, viola; Tate Zawadiuk\, cello   Winner of a 2025 Avery Fisher Career Grant\, the Viano Quartet has made a name for itself as “an electrifying collective” (Boston Classical Review) since its First Prize win at the 13th Banff International String Quartet Competition. Highlights of the quartet’s 2025-26 season included debut performances at London’s Southbank Centre\, Dublin’s National Concert Hall\, the Fortas Series at the Kennedy Center\, and a mainstage full recital debut at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Their collaborations included mandolinist Avi Avital\, pianist Stephen Hough\, clarinetist Anthony McGill\, cellist Zuill Bailey\, and singer-songwriter Vienna Teng.
