Potter has performed or recorded with leading jazz artists including Herbie Hancock\, Dave Holland\, John Scofield\, the Mingus Big Band\, Jim Hall\, Paul Motian\, Dave Douglas\, and Ray Brown. His trio currently includes his SFJAZZ Collective bandmates Matt Brewer and Kendrick Scott.
