In partnership with AllianceChicago and the Health Tech Access Alliance, CHIP is co-sponsoring the second run of a course, Health Information Technology & Data Analytics Fundamentals, intended for staff of organizations in Illinois that serve Medicaid clients, such as employees of community health centers (CHCs), federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), health center controlled networks (HCCNs), primary care associations (PCAs), or small practices. The course is also open to individuals who are not currently employed but are pursuing a career at this type of organization.
The course aims to elevate the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals in the areas of health information technology and data analytics. Students in the course can also prepare for the Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) certification exam, a Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, Inc. (HIMSS) credential.
