A new conference supporting women and gender minorities in the field of polymer science, Polymer Women Empowerment & Research (PoWER) will take place at Northwestern on July 11-12. There will be 8 plenary talks including NU MRSEC member Monica Olvera de la Cruz and UD CHARM Co-Director LaShanda Korley, workshops, networking, a poster session, and lighting talks by select poster presenters. We hope that MRSEC trainees working in polymer science, especially women and gender minorities, will consider registering to showcase the awesome work being done in their centers!
