PlanIt Purple Help

PlanIt Purple is the central repository for events happening throughout the entire Northwestern community. It was designed and developed by Global Marketing and Communications.

The application includes the ability to search and filter events up to three years in the past and five years in the future. Events can be shared between groups, and users may export events to external calendars. Events can also be fed into websites. Events in private calendars are not displayed to the general public.

PlanIt Purple is not an authoritative database of record, so University departments and organizations should not rely on it for official archiving or record-keeping. Units in need of a record-keeping function should maintain copies of their own records in-office. If a group is unused for over 18 months, it may be marked inactive.
