Author of Limbo: Blue-collar roots, white-collar dreams, Alfred Lubrano specializes in a often-overlooked cultural phenomenon: individuals torn between the world they grew up in and the life they aspire to. Join us to hear this Medill graduate speak of his own experiences, his research, and how this affects Northwestern.
Part of Money Maters Week. Middle-class, wealthy, low-income, in-between. Socioeconomic diversity defines our Northwestern community. Join us for a weeklong discussion on class, identity and the college experience. Everyone, from all backgrounds, is welcome and encouraged to attend any of the events!
Co-sponsored by: Inspire Media, College Democrats, the Dean’s Office, the President’s Office, SESP, Department of Campus Inclusion and Community, and the Center for Student Involvement.
