This BIP event is put on by a Northwestern University alumni, Dan Shedivy of William Blair & Company, who comes back to help you get off to a good start by showing you the skills that are important for internships and jobs.

They have assembled a group of Northwestern alumni with exceptional business backgrounds from top Investment Banks, Private Equity Firms, Consulting Firms, and Major Corporations to guide small teams of students in several real world practice modules that will introduce fundamental business concepts.

The bootcamp includes:
•Crash course in Accounting and Finance
•Practice modeling out financial projections for a mock sell-side engagement
•Value a company from a private equity firm’s point of view
•Develop a strategic consultant’s framework to add value to your newly purchased company
