The Media and Design Studio and the Early Modern Colloquium of the Northwetern Unversity English Department invite Eric Alexander (Carleton College) to demonstrate Serendip, a tool for visually exploring topic models generated on large corpora of documents.

Serendip can bring analytical insights to large amounts of text, such as the entire catalog of Early Modern English print. Northwestern remains heavily involved in creating, tagging, improving such text corpora though initiatves such as the EarlyPrint project, and Engineering English.
