RSS240 - RES for Academic Schedulers

RES for Academic Schedulers is for department assistants, program assistants, instructors, and other employees that work with scheduling classes that appear in CAESAR and need rooms across campus.

We'll discuss how room scheduling fits into the overall class scheduling timeline, how the scheduling optimizer algorithm assigns classes to rooms, and some tips for how to possibly improve your room placements. We'll spend time discussing how to find rooms for room changes, room availability for different class meeting patterns, and requesting special accommodations.

Recommended Pre-Requisites for this course are CLSS1 and RSS100.
