Join us for one of NUAM's largest events of the year!
Stigma panel will be held on November 8th, at 7pm in Harris 107.
By talking about our personal experiences with mental health and mental illness during Stigma Panel, we are declaring that we are not ashamed of what we are dealing or have dealt with. We want to say that it is okay to ask for help, to see a therapist, to live with a mental illness. In doing this, we hope to encourage those in our community silently dealing with mental health issues to seek whatever help they may need and create a more open dialogue surrounding mental health on campus. Following the speakers there will be a question and answer period.
If you’re interested in sharing your story, please reach out to us. We can’t guarantee that everyone will get to speak due to time constraints on the event, but we'd also love to offer other avenues of sharing. We take all of the applications very seriously and thank you in advance for sharing with us.
APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO THURS (NOV 1st) 11:59 PM
