Yohanan Petrovsky-Shtern  is the Crown Family Professor of Jewish Studies and Professor in the Department of History.  He has published six books and a hundred articles in various subfields of Jewish, European, and Slavic studies. His work has been translated into Spanish, Greek, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, and Hebrew.
