Are you interested in the Medical Field or any related area?
Would you like to know about working/living in another country from someone in the medical field?
Are you interested in cross-cultural and sociocultural challenges when you work or live in another country different than the one you have been raised? Would you live and work abroad after graduating?
Please, come and meet Dr. Antonio Bianco, Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Bianco is from Brazil and he will share with us his professional journey in the medical field... from Brazil to the USA!
What are the challenges and the outcomes in this career, especially when you move from one country to the other?
What are the sociocultural differences that can impact your work in these countries?
And... what is the prognostic of the medical profession today?
You will certainly enjoy the conversation.
The talk, in a very current easy language, will be most in Portuguese, so students can practice their conversational skills but questions and comments in English or Spanish are welcome.
Pizza and guaraná will be served!
